The UWA School of Music and St George's College enjoy a partnership
to develop the College as a venue for high quality musical programs involving students of the School of Music and other accomplished musicians
to provide performance opportunities for UWA students at the College
to develop the College as an acknowledged centre of excellent musical performance and an extension of the Music School's musical activities
These developments have been made possible with the support of the University, provided most notably by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Johnson and his predecessor Professor Alan Robson.
Details of the UWA St George's Concert Series can be found at our Happenings page. Concerts are held in the Hackett Dining Hall, the Chapel and the Quadrangle.
The inaugural concert was held on 10 March 2013 to launch the Concert Series and to introduce the College's new Fazioli F278 Concert Grand Piano. The purchase of the Fazioli was made possible by the magnificent philanthropy of Georgian Peter Knight (1956) and his family, who have not only supported the acquisition but also funded a music scholarship, the Knight Family Scholarship.
Please visit the Happenings page for details on upcoming concerts.
